Natyanjali Kuchipudi Dance School celebrates its 26th year as a distinguished institution dedicated to preserving and promoting the classical Indian dance form of Kuchipudi. Founded and directed by the esteemed artist Srilatha Suri, the school provides comprehensive training that integrates both the theoretical and practical elements of Kuchipudi. Guru Smt. Srilatha Suri works closely with each student, tailoring their instruction to meet their individual needs and goals. She ensures that each student has a strong fundamentals base. Students are also prepared for performances, productions, their first stage debut (Rangapravesham), and advanced training as serious dancers. Students are also taught theory from the Natyashastra and have the opportunity to obtain advanced diplomas affiliated with Padmavati University through TANA.
The school also hosts summer enrichment workshops led by eminent artists and scholars, offering students the opportunity to deepen their understanding of the dance form. Under the expert guidance of Srilatha Suri, students receive high-quality education in Kuchipudi, ensuring they are well-versed in both technique and expression.
Natyanjali is most renowned for its dance drama presentations, which bring stories to life in a theatrical format, engaging a wider audience and fostering cultural appreciation. Srilatha’s artistic vision is very details oriented, as she strives to create a genuine and fresh approach to each production. In addition to solo and group performances, the school has participated in numerous national and international festivals, earning accolades and recognition for its excellence in dance.
