Pranhuti is the Director of Echoes of India, a registered 501 (c ) (3) non-profit organization. Since 2009, Pranhuti has been supporting Pranamya Suri, Founder & President of Echoes of India in the fluoride problem in the Nalgonda district, where inhabitants suffer from skeletal and dental fluorosis due to consumption of excess fluoride in their drinking water. Echoes of India has installed 11 reverse osmosis plants so far, since 2010 May, that now serve 100,000 villagers in remote areas of Nalgonda.
Additionally, Pranhuti conducted a multi-cultural event involving various art forms including American ballet dance, where she raised funds for ‘The Make Wish Foundation’ for cancer treatment for teenagers who are diagnosed with terminal illnesses.
Pranhuti had participated in a fundraising event for Vibha (Vibha is a non-profit organization that seeks to restore to underprivileged children their basic right to food, shelter, health and education in India) in 2003. In 2005, she had participated and also performed, to raise funds for the victims of the tsunami. She also had an important role in contributing to the fundraiser for flood relief in Andhra Pradesh (2009) through Natyanjali’s production of “Meera.” And is also a regular Emcee at events.
